Plant Growth Visualiser
This project uses procedural code to create dynamic floral patterns that evolve in response to the growth of houseplants, exploring
the intersections of mindfulness practices, technology and home environments for people with anxiety disorders.
Developed using p5.js, C++, and Arduino, this prototype uses an ultrasonic distance sensor that measures the plant’s size; the data is then processed through a procedural algorithm I wrote for this project.
This algorithm generates soothing visuals featuring random colours and sizes, which were carefully considered through my research to facilitate meditative experiences. <Development PDF Here:>
